Spring Bunny Easter Portraits

I can hardly believe I’m three years deep into offering bunny mini sessions to all my amazing clients here in San Diego! What started as a simple idea — inspired by our family pet bunny — has become one of my most requested and joy-filled offerings each spring.

It all began when we brought home the fluffiest little bunny, and my kids instantly fell in love. They couldn’t stop snuggling him and, of course, wanted to take endless photos with him. Naturally, the photographer in me had to turn that magic into something more… and just like that, the Bunny Mini Sessions were born.

This year, I’m beyond excited to introduce Buster’s babies (yes, our original bunny is now a proud papa!) to these sessions. They’re ridiculously cute, full of personality, and add that perfect springtime charm to every photo.

As a San Diego family photographer, spring is hands-down my favorite season to shoot in. Maybe it’s because I’m an Earth sign, or maybe it’s because San Diego comes to life in the most beautiful way — blooming flowers, golden light, and the kind of vibrant backdrops that make every image feel like a fairytale.

San Diego family portraits in spring feel extra magical. There's just something about capturing a toddler giggling next to a bunny in a field of wildflowers that melts your heart every single time.
