San Diego Wedding Photographer / San Luis Rey Mission Engagement

I recently had the utmost pleasure of capturing engagement portraits for Chantilly & Marcus! Their wedding is right around the corner so meeting each other ahead of time and getting to capture their love was a real treat!

Chantilly had her heart set on The Mission San Luis Rey which is a divine historical site in Oceanside, CA. The location provides so much variety - rustic brick walls, beautiful corridors, green parks and of course cacti! The magical golden hour light showed up and absolutely delivered that evening!

We also desired a chance of scenery and an outfit change and those two factors took us to the nearly Guajome Lake Park! The park is perfect for a casual hike, a stroll around the lake and of course for a photo shoot in the vast fields of shrubs and dried up, rustic grass.
