We are so extremely fortunate to live in a place where sunny weather, prestine beaches and beautiful landscapes are the norm. So you decide to get married on a whim, you can always be certain that you will be spoiled for choice when it comes to stunning locations.

This sweet couple reached out just a couple of days before their wedding date. They spontaneously decided to finally put all excuses aside and say "I Do". During our consultation they mentioned that this will be an elopment - a very small and private affair and they will only have their kids with them. I loved that.

May 12th turned out to be a rather gloomy and windy day, with some promise of rain. May grey was in full swing. In a way, that played to our advantage because no one else was at the beach for miles in either direction. It was truly a very private ceremony. The kids did not mind a bit of wind and happily played around their parents as they said their vows.

It was an honor to be invited to capture this very special day in David and Megan's lives! Even though I had only just met them, I instantly knew that they shared a very special love and that their bond was truly forever. They are such amazing parents to their kiddos and I can see what they opted for a small ceremony. It was just magical. The sound of the crashing waves, a completely empty, pristine beach and just the perfect amount of sunshine and clouds - a very romantic day indeed.
