Sunny San Clemente Engagement Session

Sometimes you need to leave the comforts of a charming life in Nice, France and fly all the way to California to meet the love of your life. Such was the case for Matthieu and Jessica when they first laid eyes on each other during a corporate event.

After dating for over three years, Matthieu was excited to ask for her hand in marriage and sweet Jessica of course agreed!

Since the theme of their wedding was set to be beach chic, it was only appropriate to capture their engagement portraits on a beautiful Californian shore.

San Clemente Pier was chosen for it's stunning, pictureque backdrop and fairly unpopulated stretch of beach. The lovebirds wore romantic yet casual outfits that fit their beachy and sophisticated theme perfectly.

Sharing in on their love and all the fun was their little pup! I absolutely adore when my couples include their fur babies in their engagement sessions. It goes to show that they started building their family long before saying "I Do". Kennedy was not a huge fan of getting her paws sandy but loved getting cuddles and all the attention during the session.

Loving on each other and being effectionate came naturally to these two. Their love simply shone so bright and every image captured portrayed their bond perfectly. The smiles, laughs and stolen kisses captured during this perfect San Clemente sunset were just magical.
